A London based, Swedish group fusing elements of folk, indie rock and post punk using eclectic instrumentation including trumpet, violin, mandolin (my personal favorite), musical saw (my second favorite) and clarinet. I wonder if they know Poi Dog Pondering?

Cloud Cult just dropped the band’s first new record since 2008’s Feel Good Ghosts. You may remember that FGG was my favorite record of ‘08. I haven’t listened to the new Light Chasers all the way through yet, so I’ll reserve comment until I have. In the meantime, I like this opening track. Read more about the album and buy it here.
